Labeling Maschines - Precision and Efficiency for Your Product

Precise and efficient application of your labels on round containers.

If you no longer want to apply labels manually, a semi-automatic round labeler is recommended. These are ideal for labeling round containers such as bottles, cans, and much more.

How can a labeling machine like this add value to my operations?

These semi-automatic labeling machines for cylindrical bodies are the right step if you have been labeling by hand so far or want to label small batches quickly. Additionally, they achieve significantly higher precision compared to manual labeling and ensure consistent positioning of your labels.

For many users, semi-automatic labeling machines represent the logical next step in business development between manual labeling and a costly fully automatic labeling of your products. However, even alongside an existing fully automatic labeling system, semi-automatic dispensers can be a valuable addition to your capabilities.

Advantages of semi-automatic labelers:

  • Significantly increased productivity and precision compared to manual labeling
  • Flexibility for frequent changes in varieties, ideal for small batches
  • Perfect for handling frequent special series and customized labels, e.g., for special occasions like weddings, birthdays, etc.
  • Lower investment costs compared to fully automatic machines
  • Manageable space requirements
  • Lightweight and easy to relocate
  • Optional inline printing with selected Epson inkjet label printers and thermal transfer printers

Especially if you need to apply front and back labels, such as on spirits or wine bottles, individual systems like the "Botlr" offer significant relief in labeling cans and bottles through the automatic positioning of back labels.

Which industries can benefit from the use of wrap-around labelers?

Wrap-around labelers are suitable as an addition for various industries and applications. These include, but are not limited to, organic direct marketers with products such as honey, chutneys, jams, pestos, and many more, which are often sold in jars. Cans with a wide variety of contents, such as those from emerging spice manufacturers, canned goods at local butcher shops, or in the form of pet food, can also be labeled depending on the shape of the can. Likewise, glass and plastic jars used in the cosmetics industry are ideal for application on wrap-around labelers. Classic applications such as spirits, wines, and other bottled contents produced by fruit growers, distilleries, winemakers, and breweries can also be optimally labeled with bottle labelers.

Products: Botlr - The intelligent bottle labeler for ultimate convenience

Discover Botlr, arguably the most advanced semi-automatic bottle labeler on the market.

The Botlr features a high degree of automation, minimizing user errors and allowing for quick setup prior to labeling. Among other things, the Botlr independently measures the object’s circumference and directly provides one of the 4 possible roller positions. This significantly saves you time during setup, eliminating the need for measuring or looking up the object’s diameter and inputting it manually on the device.

The setup assistant on the device display will guide you through the other setup steps as well. Here, you can, for example, select how many labels per object should be dispensed , which level of dispensing speed you would like to use, and whether you want to use a label counter. This way, you can be sure at the end that you have labeled the desired number of objects.

Moreover, it is not necessary to input the label dimensions into the device. At the end of the compact setup, the Botlr calibrates itself autonomously and measures the label length and label spacing. This also saves you time compared to other devices and reduces potential sources of error. The sensor can also be adjusted laterally by the user to ensure the ideal scanning position for round labels or special shapes.

Back labels are automatically applied exactly opposite the front label by default. Alternatively, the position can also be manually set.

Recurring orders can additionally be saved as “Standard” jobs in the quick start menu.

If you prefer processing quality, functionality, and a high degree of automation to label quickly and with minimal effort, the Botlr is the best possible choice.

Use the Botlr bottle labeler with inline printing, for example with an Epson ColorWorks C6000 or C6500 color label printer.

With the optionally available data cable, the print job will be restarted on the Epson C6000/C6500 each time you press the handle down and dispense another label. This way, you don’t need to pre-print your labels and only use as many labels as needed for labeling. This is particularly advantageous when processing large quantities of a single format and especially useful when multiple layout changes are required for a uniform format.

The optionally available laser assists you with alignment. With the help of the laser, you have a marking line on the cylindrical body to guide your placement. This alignment guide is especially recommended when you need to overlay existing labels on your product precisely. The laser is primarily suited for opaque cylindrical bodies such as plastic or metal cans.

Products: PK-52 - The Durable Wrap-Around Labeler

The PK-52 is an exceptionally precise and robust wrap-around labeler due to its design, setting it apart from many alternative products.

With a minimum object diameter of just 10mm, the PK-52 is ideal for labeling small items such as vials, tubes, lipsticks, and more. It can also handle larger containers with diameters up to 110mm, such as bottles or jars.

A rotary knob allows you to switch the PK-52 between applying a single label or front and back labels per object. The relative position of the labels can be adjusted variably and is displayed on the screen.

The PK-52, while lacking the automatic calculation and calibration of object diameter and labels found in the Botlr, remains very user-friendly and thus more cost-effective.

The contact area for labeling is defined by two black rubber rollers. The front roller is infinitely adjustable and can be easily fixed in the ideal position. This allows for the processing of very small products with a diameter of 10mm as well as bottles up to 110mm.

The sponge roller for applying the label can also be mounted in 4 different positions to accommodate various object diameters, ensuring optimal application pressure.

The basic operation of the labeler is straightforward and intuitive. Lowering the lever with the sponge roller automatically starts the labeling process. The low-resistance lever is held down until the label is fully applied. As the product rotates on the two rubber rollers, the sponge roller ensures a wrinkle-free label.

Additionally, the overhang of the label at the dispensing edge can be adjusted with the rotary knob to match the labeled product and minimize the likelihood of misapplication from the start.

With an impressive performance of up to 1200 containers per hour, according to the manufacturer, and depending on the label and container size, the PK-52 significantly boosts your efficiency.

Additionally, the bottle labeler can be operated with printing systems such as the Epson ColorWorks C6000 Inline via an optional connection box.

This allows you to print only as many labels as you need for your current application.

Alternatively, you can use the included roll holder. This unwinder allows you to attach pre-printed label rolls, eliminating the need for additional accessories for your labeling application.
