High-end printers are extremely stable, so to say indestructible constructions in a well thought-out design. Therefore, they are ideal for harsh production environments from which they are additionally protected by their metal housing.
They offer an excellent print resolution of up to 600 dpi, a print width of up to 216 mm and maximum print speeds of up to 356 mm / sec. They are also particularly easy and convenient to use.
If you also need multi-color labels with comparable requirements then take a look at our inkjet label printers!
These printers show their strengths especially in the case of large label throughput. The diverse equipment options, high printing speeds and many other advantages minimize the downtimes and setup time of your printing systems and ensure smooth label printing. Harsh production environments ain't a big problem either.
The ZT600 series includes two different versions of a thermal transfer printer: the ZT610 and the ZT620.
The ZT610 has a print resolution of 203, 300 or optionally 600 dpi with a maximum print width of 104 mm.
The maximum print speeds are 356 mm/s (203 dpi), 305 mm/s (300 dpi) and 152 mm/s (600 dpi).
The ZT620 can print with 203 dpi or 300 dpi.
The maximum printing speed is 305 mm/s or 203 mm/s.
The ZT620 has a higher maximum print width than the ZT610. It is 168 mm.
Both printers have an adjustable sensor, ideal for circular labels, for example.
There are also versions with a tear-off edge, cutter or rewinder with peeler function for both models.
USB, serial, Ethernet, Bluetooth and dual USB host are available as interfaces. Some versions also have WLAN compatibility.
The metal housing and the very robust construction round off the industrial printers of the ZT600 series accordingly.
The Zebra 220Xi4 thermal transfer printer has 203 or alternatively 300 dpi.
The printer achieves a maximum print speed of 254 or 152 mm/s.
The maximum print width is 216 mm (8"). Depending on your choice, the existing versions include a tear-off edge, cutter or rewinder with peeler function.
The internal rewinder winds your labels directly onto a 76 mm core (3"). There is no active unwinder, the label roll is simply put on a holder.
The 220Xi4 also has an adjustable sensor for optimal detection. This is particularly advantageous for unusually shaped labels. In this way, for example, round labels can still be captured as early as possible and printed in full.
In addition, it is possible to make settings quickly and directly on the device using the LCD display and the buttons below.
All standard configurations include the connection types USB, serial, parallel and Ethernet. A WiFi-enabled version is also available.
Overall, the 220Xi4 is a heavy printer, but its metal housing makes it extremely robust, making it ideal for adverse working environments. The 220Xi4 compensates for the high weight with its 8" print width.
The ZT510 is a 4" thermal transfer printer with either 203 or 300 dpi print resolution.
The printer achieves a maximum print speed of 305 (at 203 dpi) or 254 mm/s (at 300 dpi).
The maximum print width is 104 mm. Depending on your choice, the existing versions include a tear-off edge, cutter or rewinder with peeler function.
The internal rewinder winds your labels directly onto a 76 mm (3") core.
The ZT510 has an adjustable sensor for optimal detection. This is particularly advantageous for unusually shaped labels.
In addition, it is possible to make settings quickly and directly on the device using the LCD display and the buttons below.
All standard configurations include the connection types USB, serial and Ethernet. A version with WLAN compatibility is also available.
With its metal housing, the ZT510 is also well prepared for a harsh environment. At the same time, it is significantly lighter than, for example, the 220Xi4 mentioned above, whose maximum print width is twice as high.
Cab also has powerful printers in the high-end segment. This includes the Squix series, which is divided into Squix 2, Squix 4.3, Squix 4 and Squix 6.3.
The main differences between the model variants are the combinations of print resolution, speed, width and maximum width of the carrier material.
The print resolution is 203, 300 or 600 dpi, whereby only the Squix 2 and Squix 4 are available with 600 dpi.
All model variants are designed as thermal transfer printers. With the exception of the 600 dpi variants, all of them are also capable of printing by direct thermal printing.
The maximum print speeds are between 150 and 250 mm/s, only the Squix 4 reaches up to 300 mm/s in the 300 dpi version.
The respective Squix number stands for the corresponding maximum printing width, for example the Squix 4 is a 4 inch printer.
The print width can vary slightly in the respective model series (Squix 2: 54.1 mm & 56.9 mm). The Squix 2 is also a special case because it can process labels with a width of just 4 mm.
In addition, there are existing model variants with the addition M for a central instead of left-aligned guidance of the labels and the specification MP, which combines a central guidance with a peeler.
Overall, the printers are all comparatively light, since they consist of a plastic housing and have a touch display.
The common areas of application for these printers are in transportation, retail or manufacturing. Shipping labels, inventory labels, system labels or packing slips are labeled there. They are also suitable for printing nameplates and sometimes also for admission tickets.
The printers of the high-end category are particularly suitable for high print volumes and harsh environments due to their metal housing and equipment.
